Aftercare

1.First 24 Hours

Keep the bandage or second skin on for the recommended amount of time (ideally 3 days). When removing it, gently wash the area with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free soap (e.g., Dr. Bronner’s Baby Unscented Castile Soap, Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, or unscented Dove). Pat dry with a clean paper towel - do not rub.

2. Cleaning

Wash the tattoo 2–3 times a day with mild, fragrance-free soap.

Always wash your hands before touching the tattoo.

3. Moisturizing

Apply a very thin layer of tattoo aftercare ointment or a fragrance-free lotion. We recommend Tattoo Goo Balm, which can be purchased at the studio or on Amazon.

Do not over-moisturize. Apply only a thin, breathable layer of product. The skin should feel lightly hydrated, not shiny or greasy

4. What to Avoid (2–3 Weeks)

No swimming, soaking, hot tubs, or baths.

Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning.

No scratching, picking, or exfoliating.

Avoid tight clothing rubbing against the tattoo.
